The world is coming to Kassel!
At the 2026 World Freestyle Skateboarding Championships, around 130 of the best freestyle skateboarders from over 30 nations will compete against one another. They will transform the city into the international hub of the freestyle skateboarding scene. Precision, creativity, and style merge here into a spectacular competition at the highest level, where various groups battle for the coveted titles.
But this World Championship is far more than just a sporting highlight that is already generating excitement. With the subcultural supporting program, the creative House of Walls, and the athletic Global Jam, a unique festival experience is taking shape. Look forward to diverse art, live graffiti, music stages, flatland BMX jam, street skateboarding, breakdance battles, graffiti jam, streetball, pumptrack, an urban art exhibition, table tennis, fingerboarding, street soccer, a gaming area, workshops, and many more workshops and show formats for all generations.
Together with dedicated clubs and organizations from Kassel and the surrounding area, we’re creating a platform for exchange, inspiration, and a vibrant community. At our lovingly curated Flowmarkt, small labels and creative vendors showcase handmade products and unique one-of-a-kind items.

This event offers a weekend full of activities for all generations—whether you’re a skateboarder, into street culture, or a family. Community, fun, participation, and a damn good time are at the heart of this special event at the Messe Kassel in the heart of Germany.
